After shooting a few that I was interested in, I bought a new bow.
I went to the shop the other day and shot the Reezen, Z7, and the Destroyer 350. All 3 bows felt very nice compared to my 2002 FX. I really didn't have any big complaints about any of them. I shot all of them at 28.5" and 70lbs with a 410 grn arrow. They all basically felt the same (to me) when I released. The Reezen had slightly more vibration than the other two which had zero imo. I went back and forth with the 350 and the Z7 shooting 3 arrows then switching bows and shooting 3 more. I would draw with my eyes closed trying to decide which one had the smoothest draw. They were very close. Too close too call for me. The deciding factor was the valley. Of the 2 bows I was shooting, the 350 beat the Z7 by a mile, in the valley department. I could've gotten used to the short valley but for basically the same price, I just didn't feel the Z7 was the right choice. I'm really not overly concerned with speed but the 350 was a flat 20 fps faster too.

Here she is with all new gadgets...SpottHogg SDP, QAD Ultra HD, and Octane stab

Like I said I'm not too concerned with speed but what are some of y'all getting from your 350's? Please include you draw length, poundage, and arrow weight, if ya don't mind.

    Thanks,
    Waid

    Very sweet setup, Greg...

My findings in tinkering a good bit at the area shops mirror yours. I think the Z7 may be one of the nicest bows Mathews has built ever, but the "extras" you get with the Destroyer -- especially when you know the behind-the-scenes, or not highly promoted, intangibles such as the 7075 alloy cams (3x as expensive and 2.5x stronger than 6061) and other specifics make the BT a winner to me as well. Still, a person could do a lot worse than either of those two bows.

very nice bow, I tried for months to shoot one in my area and never found one, I bought the z7 but my shop says they are working on the deal for the bowtechs and i may still get one this year if it's as nice as i hear.
