Now that I'm a complete dork and have a smartphone, I'm taking full advantage.

I got my iPhone4 a couple weeks ago. Last week, my new bow mount from Insane Archery arrived (Thanks Brian!). Finally, today my hunting case for my phone arrive, the xShot.

    Here's the setup...

I went with the xshot so i could shoot both portrait and landscape with my phone.

Here are my first two test shots...

I'm really looking forward to using my new setup in practice and of course in season. I'll do a more thorough review this fall :tu:

FYI, the original video isn't choppy, it got that way uploading it to photobucket.

Cool idea...but that will make it hard for me to text when I'm in my tree! Lol

Wait a minute... You have cell service way up there? ;)

interesting idea. But, I'm not too sure about the idea of putting my phone on my bow.

Push of a button and the phone slides off the mount, so I can quickly & quietly take it off or on. I've found that I can also start and stop the video with my bow hand while at full draw.

Yup :tu: it's actually a stronger signal out in my stands than in the Lodge.
