..it was an epic battle Congrats to U of M for a well fought victory. This definitely livens up the rival a notch!
Just think if the Badgers win one of the two games we choked on, we are probably top 5. If we beat MSU, do we face Stan or Oregon?
I'm sure. But seriously Vito, Germ and the rest of you UM guys, that whole spoon the mouth "dance" (if that what that gesture was) was ridiculously goofy. Was it not? lol The player that inevented that little gem of move should never be allowed to dress for a game again... ever.
It still took them 8 years and a scandal to beat us. They still barely beat us, I find it funny how it was one of UM best years and OSU's worst years and they still barely pulled it off.
Typical buckeye after defeat...but at least you find it funny. Since we are living in the past, 58–43–6. OSU does lead the rivarly in vacated victories...so you have that.
Dude in 1993 OSU was undefeated, Michigan had 4 losses. Michigan won 28 nothing, lol OSU got beat man up to it.
His celebration didn't bother me, what did however is last year OSU got 3 flags for taunting for throwing up the block O on their gloves after touchdowns... However, Robinson could run down the sidelines doing that with out a flag for taunting.
I think taunting penalties are , but there was a difference. Robinson did it towards his team while OSU did it towards the crowd and the in the cameras. That is the rule, even though its stupid. I would think OSU fans would be happy that UM and the officials kept them in the game. I don't get why some are bitter? (Not referring to you buckeye.)
I do not feel the officials kept OSU in the game. OSU was called for some ticky tacky penalties (like Borens holding call) where UofM was not called for a penalty until the 4th quarter. Those penalties against UofM toward the end of regulation were just dumb mental mistakes by the kids, I do not know how you consider those calls by the officials"keeping OSU in the game" as they were legitimate calls, not BS calls. I agree the rules have become way to strict on celebration penalties, although I prefer to see the kids just hand or toss the ball off to the refs and celebrate amongst themselves, not make a spectacle of their self. (Not saying anyone did, only relating my thoughts on the subject.)
You cannot taunt your own team. If DR did that in the end zone, my guess is a flag would have been thrown.
