Well, I am off to pack (yes, I have procrastinated this badly but we were out of power for 4 days) and tomorrow afternoon take off for Helena, my first trip to Montana, and my first ever elk hunt outside of one private ranch in CO that I have been hunting off and on since I was 14. To say I am excited is a MAJOR understatement. I just can't wait to see what Montana is like. I'll be sure to share some pics when I return for the 1 or 2 of you who gives a rat's rearend. Take care fellas and good luck to those getting out between now and when I return.
Well, count me as one of those one or two that care. I have been wanting to go back to Montana for years. I look forward to seeing the pics and hearing the stories!
I give a rat's rearend:d And I like pics Be sure to take plenty, I'm sure you'll see some beautiful country. Good luck on connecting on a big bull, too.
Good luck Jim and more of us care than you realize. Rob,(elkhuninut) left today for CO for his Elk trip.
Oh, man, I am envious. I was supposed to go to Idaho for the same thing, but will have to wait till next yr. Good luck out there, & nail a trophy. Don't settle for anything unless you can't touch the spread w/your hands.
I hope you get a big one and I really look forward to the picture's. For us poor folk that can't go hunt other places, we like to see the pic's and hear the stories!!!! Best of luck to you!!!
Good luck.... Only the Ohio Buckeye doesn't want to see pics of Elk hunts. So therefore, post up the pictures and we'll lock the thread to him.
Dude, after watching you run 6 frickin' miles ( ), I got nothin' but confidence in you! Good luck, bro!!
