Well I just decided after reading this thread not to put up my list this year Covey.

You  brother --- puts my little list to shame!

That invite is still open if you ever decide to get legs and travel East!

Oh man don't be that way, I didn't post all those buck pics to brag or discourage people...I intended the opposite to get everyone more excited for season. I am proud of these deer, a lot of time, money and work goes into our deer every year so I admit I do like to showcase them this time of year.

I've seen a lot better deer posted here this year though, some are just unreal and you always have whoppers.

I don't have a problem with human intervention where it's warranted and useful. I value our deer more than about anything around, I just don't really think there's much that can be done about the CWD if what they say about the prions is true.

You got that work/time/effort part right.. I just love running cams also! Part of the fun for me is catching the big ones on film!

Yep, I'd rather grow them and run cameras than hang them on the wall to be honest. If I didn't just really like venison, I'd never shoot another deer.

Another cool thing though is that all that time, money and work also benefits the turkeys and quail. As I drove around pulling cards and tending feeders yesterday, every place I went I was bumping giant gobblers and quail out of the way...it was awesome. The turkeys would trot over out of the plots about fifty yards and stop as I drove by with the ATV and look at me like "Well for pete sake get the hell out of here so we can eat and play." As soon as I got on down the trail they mosey back and go back to business as usual. I hope they don't get to where I have to physically bump them out of the way, they're big enough to do damage, lol.
