Got a stand at my camp that one buddy looooooves to hunt. He says he puts his back and the back of his head to the tree and just day dreams for about 10 minutes and deer start showing up. He calls it the deer button. It even worked when we hunted together a few times. Solitaire is also a lucky thing between me and my buds. If we're all hunting well text in group message and somebody will say solitaire and we all play it and sure nuff somebody sees a deer shortly after. It's kinda freaky

I will always wear my brown flannel when i'm hunting now, 5 years in a row I've harvested at least one deer in my flannel.

Um, me and the wife you know. That seems to work and even if I don't shoot a buck I still have had some fun.

Last year I began what will become a yearly tradition of taking my son out on Veteran's Day for an evening hunt. Having a little kid with you may slow that hunting down but it sure makes for a fun time. I also wear the same pair of boxers for every hunt until the first deer is down.

oh I usually miss the first shot but sometimes connect on the 2nd or 3rd. Afterwards, regardless of my success or failure, I enjoy a cold one at my truck.

I always have my "special lucky dragging rope" in my pack when I'm hunting. I have a lucky hat too.

Those cheap cheese and peanut butter Cracker packs you see at the gas station all the time. Put my first bow deer down this year shortly after eating them.
They'll be in my pack from now on, I don't even like the damn this but there coming with me.

For the past 3 seasons, soon as I get to camp I pace off 50 yards and take a cold shot into the Block. Past 3 seasons I've harvested an animal on public land (inc this year.) Something's working...

I used to get a deer when I forgot my knife. So then I just quit carrying a knife because I thought it jinxed me. After field dressing four or five deer with a Muzzy broadhead blade I decided that was a stupid tradition/superstition. :)

My hunting superstition for north central PA is there aren't any deer so I don't need a superstition.

I buy a new hat at the beginning of every season. partially for good luck and partially because over a year the old one becomes my fav hat and after the season I find myself wearing it all the time. Needless to say I have a few hats
