does this sound like the shooters problem or my BH so i got my muzzy 100 and i was shooting at 20 yards with the muzzy target tips, i would shoot my target point dead center, then the muzzy and it would go to the right. i slowed my self down and then i would put one or two in the middle then put one off, so as a last ditch effort, i used a sharp ready to hunt muzzy, at 20 yards, dead center. now is this an anchor point problem for me or is my bow out of tune i am shooting a bear charge, set at 58 # with a 29 in draw length arrows are ics bowhunters 340s
Have you tried spin testing your arrows? Or at least swapping out the broadheads on different arrows. I have some arrows that just don't want to work with some broadheads.
Hard to say. You need to get more of a pattern, sounds like it may be you, but this is what I do. I always start off with: 1. Paper tuning with field points and get a good bullet hole on paper. Then you know for a fact your bow is close to being tuned or tuned. 2. Sight in my bow at 15-20 yards with field points 3. Shoot at 20- 30-40 yards with field points to see where my groups are going, if I get a pattern left i move my rest small increments right or vise versa. If I'm getting center I leave it alone. 4. The true test is your broad head flight at 20, 30 and 40. Your broad heads should be grouping with your field points. If your finding a pattern of grouping left or right, or up or down adjust your rest accordingly not your sights. 5. Take breaks because all that shooting will get you tired for sure. I would go so far to say if you take your bow now and get good bullet holes with field points through paper it's your shooting form that's your problem. Hope this helps, I wasn't a true fan of paper tuning at first, but now I always start from a bullet whole on paper first.
yea you need to do the tuning. but your broadheads will hit different. the practice heads from muzzy are a little heavier than the regular hunting heads though. they just give you a general idea were youll hit.
