About the worst we have in ND is no telescopic sights or electronic accessories on your bow i.e. sight light, attached range finder. It passed last year or the year before that lighted nocks and mounted video equipment are legal now. Can make hunting out of a ground blind a little tough, but if thats the worst after hearing some of these I can handle it. One bow tag kinda sucks would like to have the ability for an extra doe tag atleast.
The deer have to go to church so it wouldn't be worth hunting them anyway. That's why I'm going to hunt NJ on Sundays, I hear those deer are a bunch of heathens that don't go to church Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The one I hate the most is that I can't carry in Iowa while bow hunting. I've had run ins with trespassers before. The other that I do agree with but is goofy is baiting. I've actually carried out my apple core before because I was afraid if I tossed it a GW would wander up and fine me! They take it very seriously here.
You should tell that rancid prick to sit down and stay away from trying to change rules and regulations. It's not like he abides by them anyway Sent from my SM-G920V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
That will never change. For one thing it's a marketing point for license sales. The department likes to advertise "where else can you buy an over the counter tag and hunt the rut with a gun in a top b&c state." I will say though our gun season is much shorter than many other states and the harvests drop off dramatically after the first week of the season.
They do the same thing in ND. Right in the middle of the rut. Usually first or second weekend of November and runs for 3 weekends and 2 full weeks. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
cannot kill a hog on public land in arkansas.dumb as thing i have ever heard of.i guess its a razorback thing.
I have been told this by a representative of the Conservation department but I have yet to find it in the code.
For the life of me I can't understand why it is illegal to use dogs to track wounded deer in Iowa! I think it would be great for the economy (opening new avenues for breeders, trainers & business opportunities) AND lead to fewer un-recovered animals.
God bless TN. I renew my license every March (all expire 2/28) for $160ish and it covers me for everything all year. I can carry while hunting, don't have to put in a case or render inoperable, etc. We can't bait in TN which isn't a problem for me but about the only restriction I can think of. We also have Telecheck. I guess in some states it's still viewed as the King's deer.
Your statement is incorrect. Hogs can be taken on public land provided that they are taken during a legal hunting season with the appropriate weapon for that season. Transporting and releasing hogs on public land is illegal https://www.agfc.com/en/hunting/feral-hogs/
I have not seen it in writing either. It's just ridiculous Sent from my SM-N920P using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Some laws you have to be a lawyer to decipher. They will twist them on you to make a few bucks anyways.
In Illinois we can use bow during gun season, but have to use a gun tag.... Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
