One of our good friend from Pine Ridge archery just emailed us this photo tell me what you guys are thinking?
Crazy ears, as well as all the white on her legs, back legs looks a bit strange. She's got a gut hanging down there as well! Weird looking deer all the way around!
A floppy eared doe(maybe).lol, I believe If I took her, I would have her mounted... but then onlookers would suggest "What a crappy taxidermist you have...."
She was told she isn't part of the rut plan this year because of her abnormal condition.....she is sulking. Leave her be.
Chronic wasting disease causes the same symptoms in elk, deer, and mule deer: emaciation, drooping ears, dripping saliva, and hair loss. But an animal may carry and spread the disease for three years before symptoms ever appear. Im leaning to a possible infected deer.
Crap....I'm an idiot! That's not a package, its the inside of the far leg. So, now....I change my answer to a messed up doe!
Exactly my thought. Ironically today I watched North American Whitetail episode for the 2nd time where JAmes Kroll was in mexico. A buck had 1 ear that was exactly like that. He said it was from ticks that are real bad. They actually break down the cartilage and it is permanant.
