Weird coyote photos. Has he been shot???

    Hey guys, i got these 2 pictures of a coyote that i cannot tell if he has been shot??! Very weird.. it looks like blood in the first picture, but nothin in the second.. is it the same coyote? they're only 30 seconds apart.. :bash: what do you guys think?? Thanks, Nick :p 049.jpg 050.jpg

    not the same you can tell from the coat. and it looks like the first one has mange.

    weird because i have never seen/heard a coyote on this property.

    I agree, two different coyotes. The first probably wasn't shot, just really mangy. Probably a scab on his neck/shoulder.

    I am with bowtechkid. The first one looks like it has the mange - something that comes on in dogs when they are stressed. Having a wound would be stressful but it takes awhile to lose that much hair. The second one is probably following the first one waiting for him to drop so he can eat him. :evilgrin:

    I agree, two differen't coyotes, one has some nasty mange!

    First one has mange and second one looks alright. The red spot on the first one might be from scratching because of the mange.
