I want to put 50 gr brass inserts in my arrows for next year. Do you think they will be ok? My set up is Bowtech Assassin 60lbs @ 28''. My arrows are Maxima 250s cut @ 27.25 with 100 gr tips, 7'' wrap, 3 blazers, and a nockturnal nock. Thanks!

doing so will make the spine weaker...should be ok, try a few and see how they fly! I did sort of the same with similiar specs but only half the weight...I shot thunderhead 100's for ever, wanted extra weight for an elk trip so I switched to 125's and never looked back...Since most use a rangefinder now, flat trajectory isn't as ctritical as it once was for hunting, still have lighter arrows for 3d tho..
eta-just reread your post, I ve 350's, you've got 250's...probably close, especially with long wrap and lighted nock which stiffens arrow a little...
