I was wondering if any of you guys have had experience with arrows that have built-in weight forward or know anyone that has.

I am not sure what he deal is, but I took one of Carbon Expresses supposedly weight forward arrows and a beman ICS hunter that was the same length, calculated the front of center on both and they were identical....makes me think........

Looks like some good info for a class action lawsuit to me. :) I would like to know what the manufacturer's response is to this video!

The deal is that the weight forward part is hill of beans. But that arrow is still a damn good one so I can't rip on it. If you buy that arrow only because you want to gain FOC you are going to be dissapointed.

Yeah I'm not totally sure I buy into that completely either. BUT.... Where these arrows seriously shine is spine consistency. And... IMHO.... Is more important in FOC "gains" from the weight forward design anyway. Nearly all arrows set up for hunting are going to enough FOC to do the job anyway. I personally just don't worry much about it. Spine consistency is where it's at and the Maxima series is too notch in that arena.

Agreed. But then ce should be pushing that in their marketing instead of the weight forward.
