Curious about how old you guys think this deer may be. This is the only picture I've gotten of him, but he made it through first gun season. Throw a score out there if you feel obligated as well. Thanks! upload_2017-11-22_9-26-52.png

Old enough. He’s a STUD and either needs to be on your wall or on your hit list next year.
    Good luck.

Hard to really tell with his coat so wet and ruffled as well as a rutted up neck.

For me, and assuming it is in IL as your profile states. Going by tine length along with how well he carries his mass I'd say he might be 6 1/2 and starting his decline.

His tine length just seems off for some reason, like he peaked last year and lost some this year.

No way he would get a pass from me regardless, brute of a buck.

This is exactly what I was thinking, that length just doesn't, match the frame and the mass. This deer has revitalized my season. My property always picks up later in the year and this guy has just catapulted himself to the top of my priority list!

Put it this way, I'd like to see him now from the stand but I would REALLY liked to have seen him from a stand two years ago.

He would get an arrow from me, even if he is on fhe decline.

Holy crap! Definitely would say 5+ years old. I would call him Harry because that picture makes him look like a bear! Sweet pic.

Heavy mass. Take it from an old fart, that is an old fart. He is a very mature deer that is run down some from the rut. Great trophy.

4.5 with about 138" of horn. I don't see him gaining anything buy giving another year so take him given the chance.

    Holy crap

The word that immediately came to mind...that others I see have used...is STUD.

    +5.5. IMHO

If you kill him...have him aged...I would.
