Well, my internet has been down so i couldn't get my thread up.

Alot of weird feelings going on right now. The 2 most important things are this:

    1. Favre leads the entire NFL in touchdown passes
    2. Rodgers leads the entire NFL in QB rating

If you would tell me these two facts at the beginning of the year, i wouldn't believe you, and im a homer.

The Packers are now playing for a wildcard spot. Thats a fact and i have to accept it. The Vikings (along with the Saints ) are the best team in the NFC. No doubt.

Favre may be the greatest athlete ever ;)

Aaron Rodgers is for real. The ONLY flaw is that he holds onto the ball too long. Thats so obvious now. Other then that, he is almost a perfect QB.

Did i mention Favre was best quarterback ever?

This "game manager" BS should never be brought up again. He did it twice in the beginning of the year to get comfortable. Now hes simply lighting teams up. Like he has been since 1921. Did anyone forget how he signed a 2 year contract with the Vikigns? FML. He'll play till hes 45, bank it.

Rodgers has more going wrong than holding the ball too long. He can't read a defense and his abality to see the whole feild isn't there. He tends to focus on 1 receiver while there are others open.He has a long way to go and big shoes to fill and I wouldn't want to be in his position.

Favre... good, but lets face it... he has got VERY lucky a few times to keep the record that he has.

Rodgers... all I see is a "fantasy" player... he can put up good numbers but he hasn't shown himself to be a winner.

The loss to the Steeler's was as UNLUCKY as their win against the Niner's was lucky IMO. The refs appeared to be Steeler fans as well with some of the phantom calls they made.

    OHHHH HA HA HA HA!

    This just keeps getting better.

Answer me this. When you go to bed at night is there a S.I. issue with both Bret and Aaron's pics in it and a bottle of Jergan's by your night stand?

Yeah but how many games has Favre in his career won in that fasion? He has always pulled wins out like that. One thing is for sure, that dude loves the game and I enjoy watching him Vikings or no Vikings.

Actually, i have 2 posters alongside my bed, and about 34 sports illustrated covers framed throughout my room ;)

In all honesty, with the homerism thrown aside, Aaron Rodgers is a good QB. Especially after only 2 years as a starter. He's not "Elite" like Brees, Manning, Brady and Favre, but hes in the next group for sure with Rivers, Manning, Roethlesburger. His fantasy stats are very impressive, you must admit.

And dont forget the record of the teams the Packers have lost to this year is 19-4. Ill chalk that up as a win in itself.

Just giving you crap, Caleb. Rodgers will be interesting to watch in the next few years. These next two or three years will show whether he will be great or good.

I know what your saying, Favre had 1 losing season out of 17, Rodgers already has that after 1. Theres alot of things Rodgers does that he needs to work on, like throwing the ball away to avoid sacks. That is his #1 problem of course. His field vision seems okay to me though, its not a fluke if you lead the NFL in rating at the halfway point. And he's about as anti-turnover as a QB in the NFL right now.

used to love favre, but not anymore, still love what he did for us but now he's the enemy. rodgers is a really good qb, but his decision making hasn't been the best, although i only blame him a little. i blame the coach and his predictable and lame play calling, and our poor offensive line. not to mention our running back is average on his best day, unlike farve who has great talent all around him
