Well im sitting here counting the clock until Saturday. Been working some O/T and havent been able to get in the woods 1 stinkin day this week :throw: But on the bright side the weather looks like its gonna get nice and cool. Currently it's 80 degrees. Sat is supposed to be High of 50 and low of 32 but it also looks like were gonna get some moderate rain. Im guessing I will be using the ground blind staying dry :tu:. A cold rainy snap after a hot week should get them on their feet right? What are your thoughts?

Good luck man sounds like you will have a good weekend. In my opinion a nice day after rain will have them hungry and moving around eating.

We're gonna also gonna have some cold weather up my way this Saturday. High of 44 and low of 32 with some snow in the morning and possibly rain.

I too will be on the ground but not inside a blind - I just don't have a stand up where I want to go. Hopefully this dip into the 30's on Saturday will give us more action during daylight hours. Probably gonna try some calling and maybe break out the rattle bag once or twice.

    Can't wait :)

You sound like me lol. I work second shift and I'm off on Sundays and Mondays. That ground blind should keep you dry. Good luck.

Any weather front will bring deer movement, especially a cold snap to go with it. Im in VA and will be in blind with decoy anyway (planned it since Monday) so hopefully if any rain comes with this cold front I will still be there for the kill. Its our last weekend of archery and I havent harvested anything yet, so I hope I get one down before breaking out the smokepole next weekend.

Im from central VA also. It sure was a warm one today! Kinda looking forward to the cooler temps. Fortunately there are only a handfull of guys in our hunt club that actually hunt during archery. When the smoke poles get broken out all heck breaks loose. Im enjoying the last week of peace and quiet. Haha.
