Weekend beer line up

This was an ok stout. 25% aged in oak.

Freshly canned Hop, Drop, and Roll is in Dogfish. I'm planning on stopping by tomorrow night after work and hopefully getting your package out tomorrow night or Wednesday morning.

 

Hi guys, just had to drop in and do a drive-by post because I am so pumped. Just got my hands on some DFH 120! It was made in July of last year. Also had a friend just bring me some Three Floyds Alpha King. Good week! Enjoy Spring and good beer.

 

I imagine it might be awhile before I get a reply to this but what did you like more between the Zombie Dust and the Alpha King? I have a friend that actually told me he liked both Alpha King and Gumballhead more that Zombie Dust. I know it's all dependent on individual taste but I've gotta decide what I'm going to get with my two cases here in a few weeks!

 

Zombie Dust is superior to Alpha King. Zombia Dust just might be my favorite PA/IPA. It's just fantastic.

Never had Gumballhead.

Glad to hear all arrived safely. I should have apologized ahead of time but I get a little overzealous with the tape/bubblewrap. I try to make sure everything arrives unbroken haha.

How was the April? I just put mine in the fridge last night to chill and will likely have it sometime this weekend.

Looks like you guys haven't slowed down any! I enjoyed fletch dropping by for the update, missed that dude!

Brandon, hooker, dogfish...stay thirsty my friends. All those beers are making me drool.

I should be done building my mash tun this week. I've converted a 10 gallon igloo water cooler into one. I'm using a ball valve for a spigot and the classic stainless mesh as my mash filter. I'm hoping to acquire my brew kettle next, looking at the 44 qt bayou classic stainless, I'll likely add one of their burners too.

I'm still torn on a fermenter, and my wart chiller. I think I can build a chiller, but I'd hate to kink a 50$ piece of copper. I may just buy one.

I'll try to post some pics here soon and I'll try to have a brew day under my belt by mid may!

Went ahead an opened this for today. It's a really good saison and refreshing while enjoying the nice weather after a few days of rain.

 

Bells java stout. Decent after it warms up a bit.

This is pretty good too... I haven't had any of this brewery's IPA's of the month before but this makes me second guess my decision.
