I was able to get Amorous today but unfortunately they didn't get as much of it as the others and they only had a two bottle limit. With that being said I don't think I'm going to be up for a trade on it unless for some reason I don't care for it when I have it tonight. I'm pretty new to the sour scene so if it's too sour for my taste buds I'd still be up for a trade.

Well this beer wasn't quite what I was expecting (I honestly didn't really know what to expect) but it's pretty good. It starts out really dry like a sour with light hops and then finishes with a brett funk.

Well guys, I think I'm going to step back from the brew scene briefly. Briefly....I made a last great haul yesterday and I'll post details soon. My reasoning, is that I'm spending a decent amount of my fun money on craft beer and I wanna start brewing my own. So, ima take a month off from making beer hauls and get setup with an all grain home brew setup. I'm pretty excited to get started. Once I've got the setup bought, I'll be back here posting hauls.

Hooker, thanks for your insight into the world of sours. It's changed my beer perspective!

Dogfish, keep drinking awesome brews. I'm always excited to see what your sipping next.

Well here's the results from my last haul.

Some of these are new ones for me, some are just so good I had to have em again. This should keep me hydrated over the following weeks


Finally getting some crooked stave in KC: vielle, hop savant, and surrette


Another la folie for aging, la freak, and betelgeuze from mikkeller


The petrus trifecta: oud bruin, ale, and red


Mikkeller single hop series, perennial aria, and prairie puncheon


Jolly pumpkin la roja x2, and stone imperial Russian stout


Firestone wookey jack, fatamorgana (again), and 4 hands war hammer imperial pale.
