Probably one of my favorite brewery tours I've been on. It could be because everyone we encountered was stoned or buzzed, but the people at that brewery were friendly and seemed to love their jobs.

Damn. $14 for Gubna? Should have went with Fidy.

I have no wife or kid tonight. I need to drink more, but I don't want to bust open the beer cabinet by myself. Ugh. Such first world problems.

Yeah that java the hop was great. Makes me want mix ipa's and coffee stouts. Probably going to let the figaro sit for a while.

I sent you a world wide stout, right? You drink it yet or aging?

I really wanted the fidy, but according to the guys at my store fidy and gubna are their special releases. Fidy is fall/winter and gubna is spring/summer. Oskar blues just came to KC area this week for distribution, this batch got shipped in Friday so hopefully next fall I can get a hold of some fidy.

I did pick up some deviant dales and some some dales pale I'll be trying those today.

I wanted to try the old chub and g'knight too but those will have to be on another haul. I racked up quite a bill last night.

I think I've already drank everything you sent me. That WWS probably could have used a few years to mellow. That 18% kicked my ***.

Lol... Yeah they do pack a punch. Esp when you don't sip on them. I don't think they lose much alc though. At least the ones I've had. Oldest I've had was 4 years. The 2006 120min I had the other week lost a good bit. Was probably down around to 12%

Fresh squeezed from deschutes. I really enjoyed this beer. I got two 6 packs of it and am glad I did.

Dales pale ale from Oskar blues. A good everyday sipper! This will be nice in the summer while frying fish and playing cornhole, or while reclined on the porch watching the smoker roll. I'm really glad I can get this in KC now.

Question for you guys that age stuff: I hear some people say that pales are best to be had fresh, but then with some pales like DFH 120 min it seems preferred to age a while. How do you know what pales are ageable and how long do you usually set them back? Do you always do this at room temp or do you age them in the fridge?

120 can be aged because of it's high ABV%. Most DIPAs, IPAs, or pales should always be enjoyed as fresh as possible.

The best things to age are big stouts, barleywines, and sours. I just store mine in a dark cabinet that does not get sunlight. Storing them in the fridge would slow down the aging process. It's best to store them at around 60 degrees in the dark.

I keep all my aging beers In my fathers crawl space which stays around 55-60. Like hook said the norm of beers to age are stouts, bwine's, sours, and also high alc brown ales. Also living yeast beers like the goose island line of "living beers" which has a IPA in it called Matilda.

You failed. You poured it into a glass. I'm talking about drinking straight from the can.
