    I cannot believe I found this here in lil old KC. I've never spent 15$ on a bottle of beer before, but I'm sure glad I did. This one just surpassed pliny the elder for my personal best pale ale.

    I'd have never tried it were it not for this forum! Thanks for the recommendation to those who mentioned it above.

    I give you omnipollo fatamorgana in all it's hoppy and cloudy glory!!!

    I'll be going to see one of my good friends up at a college and he hooked me up with a free night of drinking. The only thing is I'll have to drink Straub.

    Free beer is good beer, but has anyone had Straub?

    They are in st. Mary's PA no? I think I've had the IPL and another lager. After 8 or so who care what they taste like

    It was good. Had nice sweetness to it and hid the alcohol well.

    LOL, Yeah that batch was rather sweet i thought. I have 2 i'm going let sit for a while and see if they loose some of the sweetness. But yeah, for a 15% alc beer you can't even tell.

    I need a favor from you fellow beer snobs. Please enjoy a beer and surf the web to El Bait Shop in Des Moines Iowa. It was voted one of the best craft brew pubs in the country and has an overwhelming number of brews to pick from. Give the beer selection a peek and tell me the beers that are a must try. I try to get there at least once a month but have been in a bit of a rut when I go there. I see that they have some Jester Kings in bombers. Hook sent me some JK and I liked it. I will probably try at least one of those tonight when I go there, but would love to hear if any of you see something there that is earth moving. Thanks!
