I think I prefer her sister Sophie, but this is a good brew for sure

    Indeed. Thanks Z!

One of the local breweries just released their Grand Reserve. It's probably the best beer brewed in LA. I've got a bottle for you :)

Honorable Husband is finishing off his last bottle of Bell's Special Double Cream Stout. I think he has grown fond of it. He says it makes a great dessert.

I can only drink in small quantities and I usually prefer sake. But that Stout has a real nice rich flavor to it. Maybe he'll want me to get more next time I go to the market. I'm planning to get something he hasn't tried yet. I tried some Founder's Breakfast Stout at the tasting bar there, but I really didn't care for it.

I might get some of the Bell's Two Hearted Ale. They have it on tap at the bar we go to, but we keep forgetting to try it. So far we, and especially my husband, who is the family beerist, has liked all the Bell's products I've brought home.

I'm loving the canned Sam Adams lately, had a few of their Winter Lagers tonight.

I love me some new glarus! The beers aren't incredible, but better than average and I can't help but a drink a few when I'm in Wisconsin slaying bass on the Mississippi every summer!

I'm already thinking about the bottle of Defiant Tripel and Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier I have back home... I may have a problem.. Also on another note, I brewed a Christmas Ale back around Thanksgiving that I racked into secondary yesterday. The taste is coming out great and I'm really looking forward to bottling these guys in about 2 weeks.

I know it's a little early for a beer but it has already been a long day lol. My flight from Raleigh to Charlotte was delayed bc of problems with the plane and it made me miss my connecting flight home so I've got a couple hour wait. Since Charlotte is where NoDa is located, I figured I'd get one of their beers and it must be super fresh bc it's delicious!
