Half way through a growler of IPA made by a brewery in Des Moines by the name of Confluence. This brew is called Des Moines IPA and is pretty good. They make a black IPA that is also very good in my opinion. I think I may need an intervention.

Must be the holidays if weekday drinking is going full force. Had a Captain Lawrence Imperial IPA with a burger tonight. Awesome IPA, I'm glad I sent it out with the packages I shipped today.

To the Holidays! I am enjoying a 750ml of Avery's Hog Heaven. A dry-hopped, barleywine-style ale. I think its the perfect pair with frozen pizza. It is sooo freaking good. I am going to Boulder in January and will definitely be backing up the truck to Avery among others! Enjoy your brews my fellow beer snobs!

My holiday season doesn't start til Christmas day unfortunately but that doesn't slow me down. I work 11-8 so I have a flexible schedule. I had a sierra nevada celebration ale and a NoDa hop, drop, n roll tonight. I do get off from Christmas through January 5th though so activity will pick up haha.

I like the Ranger. I think I like the Rampant even better. I like the stronger "pine" taste in it. Probably goes back to my days of being a gin drinker. That has to be a new label???

Well aint that just the bomb! Get it? You see what I did there? Just dont try that in the airport.

I seem to alternate every time I go to the store on which one of them I pick up. It is a staple in my beer fridge. Both are easy drinking brews. My younger son that still lives at home just busted my balz for having a better stock in my beer fridge than I have food for him in the regular fridge. Is that wrong???? We have a Subway and a Hardees or Pizza Hut in town. WTF?

Had this last night while watching Man of Steel

    this is absolutely fantastic

Prairie makes such good beers to be a tiny brewery in the middle of Oklahoma

So far i've had View attachment 41153 View attachment 41154 View attachment 41155

The blue point IPA was great. The Porkslap was decent. The heady Topper was... Heady topper. rated number 1 on BA ... Not in my book. But for a double IPA its up there.

Thanks again Zdeerslayer! Return care package will be heading your way soon. You will love the 2006 & 2007 DFH 120's

I'm drinking this tonight. It's a pretty good Irish cream ale.

I've actually never tried that one. If it was bad, I apologize.

Glad the beers made it safely. Let me know what you think of the other ones. While I think the HT is awesome and probably the best IPA I've ever had, I probably couldn't call it the best beer I've ever had. Hell, I probably couldn't pick one beer as my favorite, that would be tortuous.
