I was able to finally pick up some founder's harvest ale here in IL. Hopefully it makes it alright on the flight back to NC. I also picked up a bomber of enjoy by 12.13.13

Both of those vintage series should age well, so yeah, you did good man. Are those bombers? or 12 oz? You should buy a 2013 of each and compare.

I'm going to start growing a couple varieties of hops next year and hope to have enough to make a harvest ale next fall.

The regular Breakfast Stout is pretty easy to get here in NC and IL. The Harvest Ale on the other hand is much harder to get. I missed out on it a couple weeks ago by about 5 min in NC as it sold out the same day they got it. I was lucky to get it this past weekend in IL as I had a friend tell me it was in. The Kentucky Breakfast Stout on the other hand is really hard to get anywhere.

Yes KBS is very limited, a local beer store was able to get their hands on some this past spring, it went very fast. He was selling it by the bottle. I was listed for 16 bottles and enjoyed them greatly. Maybe my all time favorite Stout ever.

With the winter beers hitting the shelves I am in heaven. Fall and straight into winter are my favorites for seasonal beers.
I picked up a case of 21st amendment "Fireside chat".
And don't hate on me for this one but Magic hat mixed winter sampler case.

Before its all said and done I will have downed copius amounts of Southern Tier's 2Xmas, Troegs Mad Elf, and Great Lakes Christmas Ale.

Hooker, did you score some good brew in Colorado? I am heading out in January to Boulder to watch my son race in Nationals and will be loading up. We wanted to fly out, but have decided we will drive just so we can make a haul.
