Currently drinking this DIPA. It's definitely maltier than I was expecting but still pretty good.

Damn that certainly does look malty. I had never tried it before, so I'm glad you like it.

I talked to my beer guy yesterday and we will be getting the Goose Island wild ales as well soon. Can't wait. I love me some Halia and Juliet.

I really wish I could have sent you some Hop, Drop, n Roll Hooker. I'm having one right now and can't get over how good it smells. I'd say it's by far my favorite IPA here in NC. It's too bad our trade happened right when they were switching from bombers to cans. Whenever we do another trade I'll be sure to include a 4-pack. Let me know how the Belgian from NoDa that I sent you is. I've never had that one before

We have a local brewery that is all they package in, either that or on tap...no bottles. They are glass though.

I've always just bought growlers from the brewery. I have a couple glass ones. That Brauler one does look badass though, and I'm just it would keep the beer fresh for longer. I always try to drink the beer within 3 days in my glass growlers.

I have three glass growlers and a really cool stainless one. All were bought directly from the breweries. I really don't see any difference in the two types though.

very good representation of the style (Belgian tripel), and definitely has that Belgian sweetness going on, very nice

I like it. I've never had an oak aged IPA before. Definitely takes away from the bitterness that I like to see in IPA's but it's still good in a different way.

I've switched to a NoDa Jam Session now. It's a lightly hopped pale ale that has a little lower abv than the hop, drop, n roll. It's my first time having it and it's pretty good.
