    Barleywine when done correctly are damn good, they have a bourbon taste and smell, also have to love the sours, IPA's, Imperial Stout's etc.

    Dogfish head makes a barley wine style IPA called old school and it has to be 1of the best barley wines iver ever had. It is also one of there ageable beers that they do and i have 2 bottles that i thinks going on a little over 2 years. Probably crack 1 open for thanksgiving dinner this year.

    Dogsih know what they are doing. I have a schlafly that is a 2012 that I am aging along with an Imperial Stout that I have had about 3 yrs.

    I couldn't drink much of that... I figured it would have a light bourbon finish, not taste like bourbon, which I'm not a huge fan of haha. I'm having a NoDa hop, drop, n roll now.

    what schlafly are you aging? what imperial stout?

    I have some World wide stout from Dogfish head that im aging for a friend.

    Last night's lineup
    Helltown Mischievious Brown Ale(Excellent brown ale, even my buddy who doesn't like brown ales said it was good)
    Dragonhosen Imperial Oktoberfest-Really good beer, very interesting taste, smooth drinking for an "imperial"
    Fathead's Trail Head(wet hopped)-Outstanding beer and winner of the silver at this year's GABF for it's class.

    Their yeti stout, and all of it's iterations are great. Not a fan of their IPAs. Too malty for me.
