Weekend beer line up

Did some running up in the 'mountains' after work today, so I figured I deserved a Pumking.

 

I'm having a couple glasses of wine tonight... GASP

 

Nothing wrong with a glass or 4 of a nice red. White on the other hand, gay.

 

Had a glass of cabernet with a steak dinner and one more for dessert haha.

I worked a charity event for a big liquor store in the area last night and traded with another vendor after it was over. Got a 4-pack of this and he got one of my high end Italian sparkling wines. Figured no better time to try this than watching football.

Well i had my first pumpking ever last night... It reminded me of a vanilla cream soda... The more i drank it, the more i liked it. I think it would be better if it was mixed with a dogfish punkin or other stronger pumpkin flavor beer. May also work well with a pumpkin icecream for a float.

 

Seems as though just about everyone is already sold out of Pumking in NC already which is kinda disappointing seeing as it isn't even October yet. I guess that's what happens when they release it in late July! I only have one bottle of it and it's finally getting to be about weather to drink it. If I come across any I'm definitely going to buy a couple bottles. I think I'll probably buy another bottle or two of ST Warlock as well. I'll probably try the Warlock out on Friday night to celebrate finishing up our move to a new apartment. DFH Punk'n should be here anytime now too. One of the bottle shops just got it on tap so bottles should be soon to follow.

 

Stronger flavor? Lol

I am enjoying a couple of Three Floyds Zombie Dust tonight. Still have about half a case left. Life seems pretty good right now. lol
