Are you able to get it down there? This is the first time they've distributed in NC but I was able to get it pretty easily when I was in IL.

We get some Goose Island, just not the good stuff. I have to cross the border over into Texas to get Sophie.

Ummm... I really dont partake in many alcoholic beverages.... But I'll dabble into it now and then just to reassure myself that it tastes pretty nasty.

But over at a friends house I consumed an Angry Orchard crisp apple... and now I find myself sipping on some as I type, stuff tastes like liquid candy...lol.

Where does that rank, Girl Beer?

I also like darker beers also... but not enough to waste my dollars on, this hard cider though... not bad at all.

How bad is the price of shipping bottles? I'd be interested in trying to do some trades at some point potentially if any of you guys see something you're interested in and can't get easily as long as shipping isn't too out of control.

Well, the Lagunitas Hop Stoopid had a nice look, very good smell, but to me, something was off with the flavor. It isn't bad, just not what I was expecting. The reviews I had read on this brew were very very positive but to me, it just doesn't stand out.

Any idea how old it was? Lagunitas makes quite a few decent IPA's at an affordable priceline but I usually try to get them somewhat fresh regardless of what IPA I'm getting.

It's usually about $20 for a package. I don't mind paying that for stuff that I can't get here.

My first beer of the day was a NOLA Brown Ale after my first kill of the season, a green-winged teal.

I bought a 6 pack of this last night, it's not too shabby. I'll definitely wait until it cools off though. I can imagine it tastes pretty good when it's nice and cool outside
