It's that time again. I'll be in NYC this weekend, get a chance to have some Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier, my personal favorite, at a good German bar downtown. I'll keep an eye open for some other stuff on tap.
Hook, have any beer recommendations per the below menu? It's a Belgian restaurant, so I'll be getting some seafood, but I'll drink anything even if it doesn't go well with the food. http://www.waterzooi.com/downloads/waterzooibeer.pdf http://www.waterzooi.com/downloads/waterzooidinner.pdf
I've breaking in some Budweiser black crown for the heavy drinkin. But I broke down an bought some craft beers to start out the night! Sent from iPhone
As good a breakfast stout is from the bottle it's even better on tap. Friday night my wife and grabbed a quick dinner at a good local bar that aisle has about 20 micro brews on tap...they had it for the first time that week and it was a hit. We had few pints of Founders Breakfast stout with dinner and it was super. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just tried Shock Tops Honey Apple Wheat. I have to say it is in the top 5 I have tried to date. I'm planning on trilling more seasonal beers this year. I don't drink often but, every time I buy beer this year, it is my goal to buy something new that I haven't tried before.
Friday night I has a few Leffe Blonde's which wasn't bad, and finished off with La Fin Du Monde, which was awesome. Over all I was very happy with both the food and beer.
sorry I did not see your post till Saturday morning. But looks like you made some right choices. La Fin du Monde is always in my rotation. It really is a great beer.
