Weekend beer line up

I do not, but I would like to try, as I think that craft hard ciders are the next big trend

 

Will be having a nice "Fall Hornin" Pumpkin Ale when I return home today from Anderson Valley

 

Good deal. No better smell in the world IMO.

 

So, I had to eat my words haha. Left for work this morning with about bubble per minute in the airlock. Came home to krausen coming through the airlock, so I made the blow off you talked about, thanks!

 

I am drinking a 3 Floyds -Alpha King right now and it kind of feels like a party in my pants.....

 

I'm having a DFH 90 min tonight.

Oh yeah. My GF got sent down near DC for 3 days for training and today she stopped by a total wine ( huge beer store) and picked me up 3 - 6 packs of schlalfy pumpkin and 6 Southern Tier Pumpking 22oz / flex she's so good to me

 

Let me know how you like schlafly pumpkin. Anybody who wants any I can get it for you. Brewed in St. Louis and its sold basically everywhere around me. Myself, I'm not a big fan of pumpkin beers but will probably pick up a 6 for later this fall.

 

I got a 6 pack last year and loved it, its actually better then dogfish punkin. Did i just say that?

 

Good to know about the Schlafly. I can get it locally also. I am drinking a Pumpkick by New Belgium right now and can't say that I am very impressed. In fact, I would not recommend it.

 

Guinness... I've been craving nothing but Guinness lately. The funny thing is that I used to hate the stuff.

 

yeah the pumpkick is not that good. the longtrail pumpkin isnt either.

 

A really good pumpkin I had this year is Elysian Night Owl.

 

Let me know what you think of the Pumpking, I think it's the best pumpkin beer hands down.

 

Still yet to have a pumpkin beer this year. Still too damn hot. I haven't seen in Southern Tier Pumpking yet, still waiting on St. Arnold Pumpkinator (the best pumpkin beer I've tried) to be released.

I do have a growler of Howe Sound Brewing Pumpkineater waiting for me though.

 

I haven't had any yet either, since most are released way to early and are gone by oct i stock pile them untill the weather is right.

I have about a dozen differnt pumpkin brews saved up so far. plan on getting some more this weekend

 

I picked up some Sam Adams Octoberfest last night. Our package store didnt have any pumpkin beers on the shelf. I thought that was odd?

Anyone drinking Redds? I tried the apple and thought it was nasty. I saw they are making a strawberry now as well. I'll probably steer clear of it.
