How was the HDR? When I lived out in NC I loved it but after it won gold a few years ago they had all kinds of inconsistencies to the point that I stopped buying it.

Got some new beer to try out. I've been sticking with bud light lately lol. So this will be a nice change of pace. Thanks again Tom. IMG_5265.JPG

Today's travels see me in Germany so it's Becks today. Yesterday I was in Monaco and drank the worst beer I've ever tasted, I'll find the receipt and add the name when I find it.

As soon as I'm back to the USA it'll be good old PBR

I don't mind paying for good beer but is this worth it?[IMG]

I bought some of this for my son when he was home for thanksgiving there was a couple of cans left in the fridge, I tried one and was surprised it is damn good. This is coming from a guy who is anti craft beer.

Awful hard to beat the old standbys, Grain Belt or Miller High Life, both in bottles. PBR is OK too when I can find it. Most of the time it is Canadian Reserve and Squirt.

You know Jay I am interested in some of the craft beer for use in recipes some interesting flavors out there that would be good in roasts and soups. I usually use Linies in my beer cheese wild rice soup but I bet there are a few other beers that would make the soup better. I also want to add a beer rather than broth when I cook roasts in the crock pot honestly craft beer is a superior option for this.
