Anyone else enjoying lagunitas max ipa and little sumpin sumpin ale? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Tried the Mastermind from Fiddlehead brewing first. It's maltier than I was hoping for and freshness wasn't an issue. Canned 7/29/16. Not bad, but didn't live up to the ratings it had. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
I enjoyed a Racer 5 6 pk this week and a southern tier IPA tonight...I'm looking for IPA inspiration for the weekend...
I've drank a lot of good beer since my last post but have been to lazy to post them. I got a pretty good haul of The Veil Brewing beers that were really solid. Tomorrow morning I'm heading to Colorado for a week so I'll be on some good new beer there. I'll try to post some pics as I indulge lol.
Nothing fancy here lately. Just the bud family lol. It's getting to be the time where I'll try out some pumpkin beers and more fall ish stuff. Haven't really found a pumpkin beer I really like yet. I've only tried the mass produced ones that are easy to come by at binnys. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I love me some Shalafly pumpkin ale. My wife is the HR manager of a Missouri liquor distributor and brings home lots of it.
Spent last weekend at the Frankenmuth brewery in Michigan for my sisters wedding. Started thursday afternoon drinking a Batch 69 IPA, this was my favorite beer for the weekend at the brewery. I also had a Hot Rocket Jalapeno Blonde, will probably be the only spicy beer I ever try, wasn't a fan. They had a Irish Red Ale but it tasted like they dumped warheads in the batch as it was very sour. After the wedding we went to a local tavern and I was drinking Stiegl Radler which was way too easy to drink, tasted like a NOS Energy drink IMO. All in All, it was a great long weekend of drinking and no one got sick!
Made it to our house. Already got an awesome IP trade in and these elk were right behind the house when we got here. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
Well we just got back from Colorado early this morning. It was a great trip! There was one or two more breweries I would have like to make it to but we still made it to 7. In Denver we went to Crooked Stave's location at The Source, and on the way home we stopped in Lafayette at Odd13. We went to Fort Collins where we went to New Belgium, Funkwerks, and O'Dell. In Estes Park we went to Lumpy Ridge and Rock Cut, which were both solid local options. I would've liked to make it to Black Project spontaneous and wild ales in Denver but they opened too late when we went there. My IP trade scored me a lot of Casey brewing sours, which was too far of a drive to swing. We also went to a really cool local place in Estes Park called The Barrel that had 64 taps and was located in a storage container. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
Popped this open tonight. Casey Brewing is more well known for their sours but this is really solid. Still aged in oak barrels as are pretty much all of their beers. Sent from my LG-H910 using Tapatalk
