Well, this is short notice, and I'm not sure of the legality of it, but if any of you beer drinkers with an educated palate want to trade up local crafts brews let me know. Just popped in my head and would be kind of fun to exchange brews from different areas

This sounds like a great idea, but shipping can be killer.

How does shipping work? LA to WI and vice versa can't be cheap. Cans I'm assuming?

I use UPS and it's not too bad. I always pre-print my shipping papers, and when it asks for the weight of the package, I just put 1 lb, even though most of the time it's more like 8 lbs. I've never had them say anything.

And I've shipped plenty of bottles. Just package them good.

cans are obviously way more robust than bottles, but so long as you wrap bottles carefully with plenty of bubble wrap and secure the wrap properly, you should be good to go.

I worked for Fed ex as a package handler once.... I wouldn't ship a brick through them.

I work in a shipping department, and we have way more trouble with damaged goods coming from and going out with UPS.

Thought I'd try something different. Pretty nice flavor. I believe I'll buy more. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1370744076.051383.jpg

Old Schoolhouse Imperial IPA - First time having this one as well, it was fantastic. Very hop forward with a clean finish.

I showed up to a graduation party this weekend and found this waiting for me. It makes these family parties much more tolerable.

Hooker, how close is your homebrew getting to bottling day? I'd like to hear how your first beer went. I ordered kit from midwest supplies along with a belgian witbier kit, should be here sometime this week. Pretty pumped, been wanting to brew my own for awhile now.

We are bottling on the 22nd with the hopes that our red ale will be ready for the 4th of July.

Oh how I can't wait to brew again, haven't did a batch in well over a year and I'm getting the itch again.

I know it's a little early to start the weekend, but I am sipping on a Founders Devil Dancer triple IPA and I think I may be in love. Without a doubt, the best IPA I have had to date. I will be the first to admit that I am a rookie when it comes to craft brews, but this stuff is perfection to me.
