The greatest of all time! I've been up here 5 months waiting for hill farmstead to put this on tap again. It finally happened and I scored a fresh growler! Better than heady topper, better than focal banger, better than sip of sunshine, better than any IPA ever made anywhere and everywhere. Pliny and GITM don't even touch it. It's the juiciest, most aromatic, smoothest drinking, greatest mouthfeel hoppy beer ever conceived. If any of you ever visit New England, the new taproom at hillfarmstead is incredible! It's a long hike through rural Vermont, but it's a pretty drive, and this is the Mecca for the best IPA and DIPA in the country. Cheers to Hillfarmstead Double Citra! BAM!!!! Proper glassware made this a transcendental craft beer experience!

Awesome I'll keep an eye out. I did enjoy it and would love to try out some other brews that are similar.

It's a very light thin crust, fresh plum tomatoes and fresh mozzarella, basilico, garlic and Alici( anchovies).
    It's excellent.

It looks really good. What I wouldn't do for some pizza from Philly or New York. I miss the food the most not the deer hunting.

Pied Piper IPA from The People's Pint.
Pours excellent, little malty, little hoppy, nicely bitter.
    Solid

Maine Beer company. This brewery continues to impress me. So far everything I have had has been way above average. Very refined, simple and almost elegant.

    MO, pale ale. It's excellent.

That Lefty's Breakfast Stout looks awesome. I'll have to find it.

They are canning that now and it's great! For a brewery that only does lager fermentation I really dig JA. They've got a significant barrel program started up now too. Their sours are as good as any out there.

Well this weekend was pretty much a failure. I did run a good 10 mile trail race while finishing 6th overall with a time of 1:45, which was good considering how hilly and sloppy the trail was with all the rain we have had, but all the rain and weather conditions killed our overnight float trip plans. Oh well.

I did enjoy some beer after the race though. Its just a local blonde but it gets the job done.

For the Minnesota guys I never thought I would do this but I want to recommend a pizza place in Minneapolis. You have to check out Pizzeria Lola. You should try the sausage and peperoni and the sausage and sweet peppers but if you like spicy food try the Lady ZaZA Italian red sauce, house-made kimchi, Korean sausage, serrano peppers, scallions, sesame & soy chili glaze. They serve beer from Surly and a few other craft beers as well.
