Hitting them all. It has been amazing. Funkatrium rocks. Fun town for sure. Food is just as good as the beer!

Today is my 30th birthday. Getting started early, getting started right.

Avery is still one of my favorite breweries. I like several of their brews a lot.

I am about to make a trip to California again. Planning on shipping back to myself a couple of cases of Pliney the Elder for personal consumption and for trade if you're interested. And any Colorado or Texas beers as well.

Sure was a fan of the Zombie Dust. I only had the one, and maybe it was just because I was in a beer drinking mood that night, but I do believe it was the best tasting beer I have ever had. Need to replicate the experience to see if it holds up.

The last time I was in Indiana, that stuff was nearly impossible to get. I scored one six-pack and I think I only have one left that is already promised. I will call my son and see if he can make a connection to snag some more. They had gone to only bottling it on one week-day and it was selling out by noon. Unfortunately, we were there one day too late. In the past, I could always get some at the brewery. I can get my hands on Toppling Goliath now and it is ranked one of the top 5 brewers in the world now. Let me know if you have any interest in that. Golden Nugget is a very good beer.

Absolutely. Everything you sent last time was good.

I am scheduled to go to California end of next week. Let me know anything else from Russian River you want and I will see what I can do. I will be going to their taproom so they should have several available in package form. I do know from my last visit there, they give you contact info on who will ship it for you back to yourself so I should be able to get more than just a few bottles like I did last time by only carrying back what I could get on a plane.

Pliny certainly! Also, I really like Blind Pig. I had that on tap in Colorado once and ended up not being able to even try anything else that night. Loved it. Even the hangover was bliss. lol

I have several good tradeable beers right now from a couple of trips. Just keep me posted. Send me a PM when you get a chance, I have a new address. Have a fun and safe trip!

Had a great trip to Asheville, NC. Beer and food heaven. I am so glad we booked a few extra days to explore the craft brew scene there. One of the best beers I tried was at Burial Brewing. It is their Skillet Donut Stout. Amazingly good stout served with a donut hole skewer. I was able cram a 4-pak of that into our luggage and brought some home. Funkatorium is a must for anyone that loves a good sour. Wicked Weed is another must stop and go there hungry because the food is also great. To top off an epic beer trip, we got to watch our son win a D1 National Championship in cyclocross. Let me tell you, there is absolutely nothing better on this earth than to watch your child rewarded for hard work. I would give up every trophy I have to allow my children success. My wife and I could barely look at each other without tears of joy for him. Good stuff!!

I was at Russian River taproom about a year ago, you'll have no trouble scoring all the blind pig and pliney you want. They sell it by the case and there's no limit. Just repackage into a blank cardboard box from Walmart found in the office supplies section and wrap the $h!* out of the bottles with bubble wrap, ship home At a UPS store. Very easy, and cheap, minus the shipping.

Check their release calendar, you may be there when they're releasing pliney the younger.

They've also got some world class Sours that are highly sought after in the trading community. Supplication, consecration, and beautification being three of the best I've ever had.

Cheers, and enjoy the RR taproom!

Bringing home 24 Pliney the Elder, 12 Blnd Pig, and a multiple assortment of everything else they had available.
Some is for consumption and some designated for trading.
