    No I haven't seen it here but I'll keep any eye out. I've had a couple other Tallgrass beers that are pretty decent, the 8-bit pale and ethos IPA.

    I made a ridiculous score today...also did a bunch of sipping in Waterbury and Stowe, VT. Heady, sip, focal banger, a bunch HFS, and new one for me from Lawson's called Peril. It's an 11% ABV DIPA. Usually I hate beers like that cuz they turn into hot malt bombs, but this was well hopped and balanced.

    I also drank a few white whales in a bottle share with a buddy last night. Russian River beatification and 2014 rare barrel forces unseen. Rare barrel was better than beatification but both were incredible.

    Sweet baby Jesus. I see a swap in our future. Saving a ZD for you. Some Death by Coconut also, among others.

    On a side note, I am going to Asheville, NC soon to watch my oldest son race at nationals. Can anyone tell me about the craft brew scene there?

    Oh man. I have been so busy that I have not done any recon at all. Wicked Weed! Had no idea. He only races one day but we booked 6. Looks like the extra 5 days will be well spent. Thanks for the info. I may need a detox period when I get home.

    There are a few small breweries around the area too starting to pop up, not sure how much you are wanting to travel once there? Flying in? When will you be there?

    Flying in tomorrow night. Rented a car so travelling some is no issue. His race is on the Biltmore property. Kind of looking forward to seeing that too. Just got home from the Dominican and had to unpack my suitcase at noon so I can pack again tonight. Crazy schedule lately. Really looking forward to this trip though. My wife and I both love craft brews and it sounds like this will be a perfect place to spend some time.

    Fletch, you must go to the Funkatorium for Wicked Weed. Wicked Weed is probably one of my favorite breweries. They do fantastic stuff.

    I have loved all of their sours and saisons.

    And Freak of Nature is a fantastic DIPA.

    I honestly haven't had anything bad by them.

    I enjoyed going to wicked weed. One of the better Brewers I've been too. The food was great too.
