    Fellas, there'll likely be no northeast hoppy goodness before the holidays shipped from me. My work schedule is jam packed until this contract ends in late January. I like to go on Tuesdays so I can get a heady topper case and 16 sip of sunshines. It makes the three hour trip worth while and im scheduled on a lot of Tuesday's to work. If things change I'll update you, but as of right now it's not looking good.

    Well...I'm becoming a huge fanboy of the Westbrook/evil twin collaboration Jesus series stouts...I've officially tried all of them now. The chili, the coffee, even more Jesus and Last on my list to find was the double barrel Jesus. I got lucky. I gave $30 for the bottle. It was worth every penny. I'd pay $50 for it and be satisfied with my purchase in the future. It is hands down the best stout I've personally had. It makes BCBS taste weak. There's so much flavor going on in the bottle. Cocoa, vanilla, bourbon...and the stuff is thick. Literally it's similar to 5w-20 motor oil. Simply an amazing beer.

    After the double barrel Jesus I spent the weekend with buddies and their wives in Pittsburg, NH at deer camp. The hunting sucked since I'm used to kansas. Didn't see a deer, BUT It turned into a giant food eating, gun shooting, bow shooting, bottle sharing extravaganza. We had some goodies for sure! Highlights were prairie pirate BOMB, and prairie pirate noir. The rum barrel character of those was awesome! The jacks abbey sour was top notch, Id put it up there against an almanac or RR sour any day. Fat boy from big elm brewing was another great example of a juicy dank New England DIPA that I'm hoping to find again. As always the boulevard beers were great, love child 4 is drinking prime right now the stout X series was impressive and the bourbon barrel quad is a classic. The progenitor from crooked stave was also a juicy tart funky bottle of awesomeness.

    Buffalo sweat is a great beer! Have you tried the vanilla bean version? They also released a bourbon barrel aged variant this year and it's delicious!
