Awesome barley wine. Picked this up while I was in Ohio.

I went to a small tasting this weekend. This is about half the beers...

some of the heavy hitters, like Mocha Wednesday, Vanilla Rye, and SR-71 came out after the crowd thinned later

Enjoying a 2013 Flying Dog The Fear pumpkin ale for the first game of the World Series. Let's go mets!!

Very good getting a strong chocolate taste for some reason.

Treehouse Julius was the best IPA/DIPA. Sticky Hands was probably #2.

Both the Rare Barrels were fantastic sours.

The vertical of 08', 10', and 12' Dissident was amazing.

Ale Apothecary Be Still was one of the most vineous beers I've ever had.

I wish I could say I remembered Mocha Wednesday, SR-71 and Vanilla Rye, but I was too far gone at that point to really comment

That's the problem with a really good bottle share night! Like a kid in a candy store and its too much good stuff all at once. Looks like it was an amazing night for sure.

I can now get Toppling Goliath right here in my hometown! Yesterday I picked up Golden Nugget, Dorothy's, and 1492.

We just bought a different house and I tore out all the carpet, so now I am headed home to drink good beer and pull up staples from the floor for the rest of the evening. This new house thing is really screwing with my hunting, but it has been good for the beer consumption.

The good news is, I now have a 20 yard indoor range in the attached garage and a giant trophy room above it to fill. I see more mounts in my future.

I feel ya with the new house cutting into hunting time thing. I still haven't been out unfortunately. My wife and I closed on our house 9/20/15, worked on it pretty non-stop after work and on weekends for a couple weeks, have lived in it for a couple weeks, and things are finally starting to slow down a bit. Hoping to get out for the first time this weekend, but pheasant season starts up here in a couple weeks too so I'll be splitting time between deer and pheasant. I need to get the dog out and work him some. I'm drinking on a Founder's harvest ale tonight.

We closed on our house on Aug 14th
It gave me enough time to get things situated before sept when every thing started coming into season. Was able to bag a doe last night down on my pond.

Cheers to us with the new homes!!

Drinking a dogfish world wide stout tonight!

This is pretty tasty. The 15% is pretty well concealed. Reminds me of a wild version of Bourbon County.
