    Grabbed a 4 pack of these guys for last night. Grey Sails is a local brewery that just opened last year here in Westerly RI, right down the street from my house. This is the first of their brews I have tried and it was pretty good. uploadfromtaptalk1368812084571.jpg

    What did you brew?

    Me and 2 buddies are having a meeting Monday night to discuss our plans to start homebrewing. I'm thinking of starting with a spiced saison, but they want to start with an easy pale ale first.

    Home brewing just became legal in Alabama, so the downtown home brew store is only stocking fairly easy to sell kits. So no Scottish ales for me :(

    I had to go second best: English Pale Ale. Opened the kit: Maris Otter, UK Goldings, UK Fuggles. There we go - 30-ish IBU, 4.2% to 4.5% ABV pale ale :)
