Did you send me this Hook? I put it in my pantry and completely forgot about it. Nothing like a 1.5 year old hefe lol. Still drinkable but I imagine it's nothing like it used to taste like.

    LOL I would assume

I haven't really been drinking that many interesting things recently. Mostly local stuff. We have another brewery opening up this week, so I'm excited to check them out. That will be 3 breweries for my city now. Not great, but not bad considering 2 years ago we had 0.

I have really been enjoying Surly Furious. It is a welcome addition to our state! Last night a friend of mine stopped by with this. It is a great Belgian that was perfect for a summer evening.

Well I emptied out my "cellar" aka mini fridge and bottom half of our regular fridge in preparation of our move back to IL in 2 weeks. Anyone want to buy it all lol? I didn't realize I had as much as I did. Kinda scary how much money is sitting there haha.

Nice! Love the Gubna, Ten Fidy and Old Chub. Momma's Little Yella Pills is terrible to me. They have only been here since this winter and Ten Fidy is already a staple in my beer fridge.

Pretty damn tasty. The Vienna malt has a bread-like taste to it that I love. Definitely will be brewing this again.

We went to Indy last week to help my son haul some of his things home for the summer. That means a side trip to Munster, Indiana on the way home for an overnight. It just happens that 3Floyds is in Munster and I had the out of body experience of getting "dusted" on fresh Zombie Dust from the tap. Awesome. I even smiled through the hangover. The next morning we called and/or went to nearly every liquor store in a 20 mile radius and chased down a LOT of 3Floyds beer. Unfortunately, ZD was non-existent. It had been bottled on Wednesday and gone within 6 hours. At the last store, I had bought nearly every bottle of 3Floyds they had and the owner asked me if I liked ZD. Long story short, she went to the back and brought a 6pk of ZD out of her husbands office and sold it to me. This after telling us on the phone that she had none. lol

I've always wanted to try zombie dust, but like many other great beers - it can't be found in Minnesota.

Love this IPA, only problem is that it drinks like a session but is definitely not.

A lot of this stuff I've never heard of. But I'm not quite old enough yet anyway. Soon I may try some of these, they look interesting.

Went to a place downtown last night and tried a few new beers. The first was an oatmeal stout brewed here locally. I enjoyed it. I don't normally like the heavier beers but this was good. The the next I had was a lighter beer, it was a Tucher Helles Hefe Weizen. I really enjoyed this one I could've drank a few of them. The last one I tried was one my buddy got it was stiegl radler grapefruit. It was really sweet, I liked it but its not something Id drink often.

Ok next .... Allagash Black Stout

The black is heavy, little bit of alcohol(taste like 10% not 7ish...) bite in the finish....it's good but your not drinking more than one or two.
