I'm hoping this isn't redundant fellas, but I'm drinking a hopulence bomber bottled yesterday...I've got three left and already am wishing I had more.

I need to do a side by side with this and heady topper.....to be continued

Good beer is never redundant. Keep it up. I'm jealous.

I should be shipping your box Friday.

I just found out that both Oskar Blues and Great Divide Brewing will be opening their market up to Iowa starting in January. Great news for me as I really enjoy both. The craft brew scene continues to get better and better here.

One of my go to beers. I have had it on nitro tap at their brewery and have been hooked ever since. Left Hand also opened their market to Iowa this Fall. Before that, I had to stock up when in Colorado.

Simple camp beer, with some great tasting venison and some rolls to go with it.

Nothing wrong with a banquet beer! When it gets to be triple digits in kansas I tend to drink more of those and miller high life than I do craft brews. It's hard for me to drink a big stout or 8.5% ABV DIPA in those temperatures.

I'm headed to the prohibition pig in Waterbury, VT for lunch tomorrow afternoon. Fresh heady cans, 5 hill farmstead brews on tap, Lawson's finest brews on tap...and allegedly incredible food. From what I've heard, it's a Mecca spot for beer nerds and foodies alike, I'm excited to check it out!

What's the chances of you being able to score a good amount of heady or possibly truck sale beers around May? I'm looking to score a good amount of good hops for my bachelor party/wedding. I know it's still a ways out but figured I'd throw it out there. I'd be open to other good hoppy NE beers too.

Well our current contract runs until March 8. If we extend another 3 months that'll put us into early June, but at this point it's an IF. They need to extend an offer and we need to accept.

There are places in Vermont that'll sell heady topper by the case. Focal banger, and crusher are available only at truck sales at this time and they haven't posted a date for the next one yet. Hill farmstead sells only their collaborators brews on site in bomber format. Everything that is their own labels is sold by growler fill only. From what I hear Lawson's finest brews are harder to obtain than anything from the alchemist or hill farmstead but are supposed to be ridiculously awesome.

In order for me to acquire enough FRESH inventory for a wedding may be tough depending on when/if I can get the time off to hunt them down on release dates. A lot depends on how much you're wanting. A case of heady may not be out of the question. I believe they are $80 for s case and Waterbury is an hour away.

I've also got really good access to maine beer company. A case of lunch or MO is readily available at the brewery taproom but it's a 2.5 hour drive one way for me.

Yeah I'm not meaning for everyone at the wedding. I'd be more so looking for like a case or a little more of heady and if a truck sale pops up around that time some focal banger and if lucky crusher would be involved as well. I'll have to check in with the lady I've done trades with in the past and maybe I'll get lucky haha. If not I can always try to make my way up to 3 Floyds to get some ZD but that may prove difficult the week leading up to the wedding being about 6 hrs round trip.

If we do extend our contract I'll keep in mind a case of heady and something from Maine beer company. Lunch and MO are delicious IMO. If there is an alchemist truck sale close to the time of the wedding I won't count out focal banger or crusher either. It seems like they have one every other month. I'm anticipating February, April, and June to be the next 3 truck sales since the latest was in December.

Change in plans due to some poor driving conditions and snow squalls, I'm not making the hour hike up to Waterbury. Heading to a closer spot that came highly recommended to my wife and I from folks at work. Tap list looks legit, but unfortunately no heady topper

Still looks pretty good! if they have Allagash Interlude on tap I recommend it. I just talked myself into spending the $20 again the other day to buy another bottle.
