What is this beer you speak of?

 

It's one of the variants of Bourbon County that they make.

 

Yeah its a variant that changes every year and is only available in Chicago.

this years version was aged in rye barrels with cassia bark, cocoa nibs, panela, and coconut water

 

And they make like 30k bottles but the demand is so high that you have to trade a lot of good beer to get it.

 

I had a Toppling Goliath - Golden Nugget this weekend on tap at El Bait Shop. It is a great IPA. Extremely fresh taste.

 

That sounds amazing! I really wish the bourbon county beers were easier to obtain

Last time I had this one was alongside "lunch" and "another one" when I visited the brewery...I think I had contamination on my pallet from all those hops.

I drank it today solo and it was excellent! Very pliney-esque in aroma and flavor. I may like this one more than lunch, but it'd be tough to decide.
