Was a nice trip. Only 1.5 hr drive. Was the second one in line. Got all my packs that I wanted. Killer bottle sharing. Never thought I would get to try a DB cake. So great.

Had all 3 variants on tap and the mole is the best IMO. Definitely will be going to their release again and will have to probably get there earlier then 6am next time.

Variants ran out about 40ish people back in line from what I've heard. When ticket sales started the line was 300+ strong. Lots of mad people

Damn I was so torn between the vanilla and vanilla mole... I was worried that if I didn't drink it quickly the peppers in the mole might fade.

You will be happy with the bean. Hell, the 2 regular ones are great too.

You will have to go next year. They are going to limit bottles next time.

Man oh man life got busy!!! Wifey and I are preparing to move to NH in 10 days, I finished my last shift here in KC and it feels great!

I've almost been too busy to drink beer haha, but did manage to sneak a few in.

both my wife and I were able to kill awesome bucks this year. I drank a bcbcs to celebrate my kill and she drank a halia to celebrate hers. I sure am glad we got deer killed in Kansas before leaving!

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1416540562.832078.jpg 2013 halia

The BCBCS is the best stout I've ever had. Better than bomb, Bible Belt, Branson jamboree, and the original BCBS. It is ridiculously ridiculous! The halia is IMO the best of the sour sisters from goose island. If it wasn't $20 a bottle id have enjoyed it more.

Here's our bucks. My wife's was her first buck with a bow. A 137" 11 pointer and mine was my new biggest, a 158" 10 pointer. Life is good!

I've gotten a little lazy in posting what I've been drinking lately. This past week I had the following...

Yesterday I went to my beer shop and had a Founders Breakfast stout run through a randall with cinnamon, vanilla, coffee beans and hazelnut. I also had a Birdsong mexicali stout, GI Sofie, Stone Hibiscusicity, and WW caramel apple ale. The randall they have is pretty cool... last weekend I had a great divide fresh hop ale run through whole cone hops that was amazing.
