This made for a nice evening last night. Boulevard does a nice job with this.

 

This smelled like a Heineken and drank like the worst SMASH beer I've ever had....Sierra Nevada never wows me

 

Yeah I wasn't impressed with the 1 I had. Glad I only paid like 5$ for it

 

2012 vintage and mighty smooth.

 

I have to say.. That brew was fantastic. Next time I see them on shelves I will be buying them up to age.

 

My Northeastern trading partner came through again for me. 4 pack of Bissell bros Substance, Focal banger, Crusher, a heady, a bissell bros bucolia, Lunch, and a Vanilla BA Framinghammer.

Been trying to trade for some crusher and Heady on BA, but not getting any bites.

 

I'd offer some up but I'm sending some back to IL to a buddy that just got married. I'm hoping this becomes and every couple month trade so I'll let you know if I ever have some available.

I'm pumped for this weekend. Headed to south LA for a private beer tasting/jamboree thing at some rich dudes house. Should be awesome. I'm bringing some Jester King, Willows Family and Ale Apothecary. I'll post pics next week.

 

This was nice! I'm definitely a prairie fanboy. Great hop aroma, not huge on the bitterness, it reminds of a tank 7 but smells a lot better.

 

Tonight's lineup is a 2012 bcbs - from my mental notes.. I like the 2013 better. This one has a little bit more of a bite to it. The 2012 alc% is 15 on Bottle, the 2013 is 14.2% and I can remember it being much smoother. I figured with having close to 2 years of age on it would be much smoother. Guess I'm wrong. Still a great beer!
