I drank 3 2HA tonight, for me it seems like they taste like they should have 12% alcohol but only have 7%. I'll definitely be keeping these on hand.

Only thing I would change is that it has a little too much carbonation... Nothing a little age won't fix.

What on earth possessed you to drink an alcohol free lager?! Did it taste as weak as it looks?

Interesting. Why would someone go through the trouble of lagering a beer, only to boil off the alcohol.

My faith in your beer nerdness has been fully restored. Even the picture of it leaves a bad taste in my mouth!

I branched out the other night and had some Zombie Monkey from Tallgrass Brewery. I was pretty impressed! Definitely not a beer you drink many of, but I really enjoyed it.

 I haven't found a Tallgrass beer I won't drink yet, they are all pretty damn good. I'm gonna have to have you pick me out a list of beers to get for next summer. I'm pretty stuck in my ways (Budweiser, Tallgrass, KCCO Black Lager, and Shiner Black Lager).

so...last night we also began brewing 2 beers for a homebrew competition for the local brewery. They give us 5 gal wort of one of their beers, and then we take it from their. Unfortunately, we got the wort of their schwarzbier (we wanted the wort from their pale ale).

We decided to split the wort and make 2 different beers, try them, and submit the better of the 2 since we only have to submit 6 bottles.

One beer is going to be a spiced black saison with coriander and tangerine peel. I was iffy on the mixture of coriander and tangerine peel, but when I grinded the spices together, it smelled amazing.

The other beer is going to be a Citra dry hopped Belgian wit.

Hopefully one of them is at least decent

Not a bad list! Tall grass is definitely legit! Give some of the boulevard and Nebraska brewing company beers a try sometime

Hook the dry hop wit sounds awesome! I've never been huge on spice beers, but I feel like dry hopping light wits, saisons, and farmhouses is catching on. Good luck in the competition
