Helps to have access to a highly sought after brewery on the trade forums. I have a buddy that lives in Tampa and rarely drinks CCB anymore. He just uses his access to them to trade. His cellar is insane.

Maybe one day my local brewery will start getting hype. They did just acquire 15 Pappy 20 year barrels, so maybe....

Yeah it does help. My mom lives outside of Tampa. She was able to score 6 Good gourds for me and a few MZ. She said her bottle shop will be getting more MZ and she will pick me up some. And I think a beer called legacy is getting ready to hit shelves too.

Pappy aged stouts are amazingggg. The BA Sexual Chocolate was aged in 15 year pappy barrels. I don't know if you plan on keeping the bottle I'm sending you or not dogfish, but it's pretty dang good.

see bourbon barrel aged beers just aren't my thing, so hopefully when they put a stout in those barrels it gets some hype so I can stock up and trade them all for some wine barrel aged sours

I like them when the barrel doesn't overpower the beer and they're well balanced. Most of the ones I get I let sit for a while to help mellow out the bourbon a bit.

Dogfish the ghandi bot is done by New England brewery and they're down in southern Connecticut. About 4 hours from where I'll be. I spoke to a few buddies around Boston with good access and they've never seen them distributed outside of CT. I think they're on the same level as the alchemist in the northeast. Highly sought after, and minimally distributed outside of their home state. I'll see what I run into while in there tho.

Hook I believe hill farmstead is only bottled at the brewery. I know they show up on local taps, but not positive what kind of bottle distribution they get. If I make the trip to VT I'll definitely keep a look out for some hill farmstead
