Whiskey... Yeah I might not like it then... Thought it might have been a burbon barrel

Picked up a Bruery Tart of Darkness and a couple Pumking's tonight that I don't plan on drinking for another month or so. With how early it comes out you never know when they're going to sell out...

Crazy to think, but a Pumpking does not sound too bad.

They shelves were full of pumpkin beers today, and to be honest, as much as I've enjoyed a wet and mildly hot Kansas summer, I'm ready for fall.

Bring on frosty mornings, rutting bucks, any scotch that starts with the 4 letters g-l-e-n, changing leaves, falling acorns, and anything else related to the fall. This is my favorite time of year :-)

Some killer Sunday sippers! Prairie bomb, prairie funky gold mosaic, and harvestouin Ola dubh 12 year (aged 3 years)

The prairie mosaic was incredible! Huge hoppy nose! The Ola dubh was smokey, woody, and had huge scotch and chocolate notes. The bomb was the bomb! All are 5 star beers to me! Very fortunate to have had them paired with homemade brats, slaw, and sweet corn

I need to try that Warlock.

I found another pumpkin beer I like, it's brewed by the Ithaca Brewing Company and its called Country Pumkpin.

I've been MIA the past couple weeks as I haven't had any beer. I'm trying to eat a little better and shed a few pounds. I've been trying to convince myself to open up my Cascade Kriek all day haha.

Yeah I haven't been drinking during the week as much. Plus I just don't have much in stock right now, but I'll be going to Houston in a few weeks, so I'll load up while there.

I'm also saving a bunch of stuff for a massive beer tasting in October.

Hey fellas, heading out to Napa and Sonoma for 8 days on an anniversary trip with my wife at the end of this month. Most of our time will be spent touring wineries and relaxing but I know we are going to hit up Russian river brewery one night for beers and dinner. I'm also hoping to make it to a decent bottle shop while touring the valley. Anyone after anything specific from that region? I'm bringing a small suitcase loaded with bubble wrap to get some things home. I'd be up for trades if I can find what you're after. Just PM me if interested
