Weekend beer line up

One of the better RIS I've had. Very smokth

 

So this is going to be tough to top... from left to right. Jack's Abby mass rising, two Heady's, six Alchemist "The Crusher", six Focal Banger's, and a Jack's Abby Hopstitution. I'm a happy man right now!

Yea that's my last trade for awhile now outside of trying to get some HDR for Dogfish as I have to rebuild my bank account after getting our honeymoon booked. I actually offered up Huna, Abyss, and some of the other stouts that I planned on sitting on until winter and they didn't ask for that, they asked for Wicked Weed.

 

Nice. I haven't had crusher yet you could always swap HDR with that lol :P

 

Dang brandon! That's a ridiculous haul! The jacks Abby mass rising was my favorite in a trade I did last month.

 

Pretty good stuff! I've heard the most recent batch isn't quite as good as the previous one but I don't have a comparison. I could drink the alchemist IPA's only for the rest of my time and be just fine with it lol.

Well I branched away from the Budweiser and got a six pack of KCCO beers from Resignation Brewery. I don't know what you guy's standards are, but it is pretty good in my book!

 

I've been wanting to try some out. I think they finally got it in the Binnys here in Champaign.

 

Its pretty solid, but at $10 per six pack, I won't be drinking much of it. I'm more of a $25 for a 30 pack kinda guy

 

Yeah I will try it sometime but, Im with you I'll stick with a case and a handle and be just fine.

 

Is it me, or has the hoppy session ale taken over this summer? Here's is deschutes version, not too shabby.

 

Any updates on the Beer Camp 12-packs fletch? Most places around here are selling out pretty quick so if I grab one it'll probably be today.

 

Couple questions fellas:

1. What are the good trading beer forums out there?

2. Is prairie a desireable commodity in these communities?

I want some alchemist brews so bad, and after Brandon's last haul I've been inspired.

 

Only forum I'm on is beeradvocate. They have a sub-forum specifically designed for trading.

 

Drinking on this that I got as an extra from Dogfish a couple months ago.

 

Another great hoppy, dank, and boozy stone IPA. This is made with experimental hybridized hop varietals from Yakima Valley, Washington. The "dankness" almost reminds me of a fresh zombie dust. It has that funky earthy marijuana-esque aroma. #ineverinhaled
