Last Stop IPA made by Cigar City under Brew Bus Brewing. Really good beer... sweet and well balanced.

Nitro makes all the difference. El Bait Shop always has Mojo on nitro tap and Confluence normally has their milk stout on nitro tap and it just makes such a smooth, creamy texture to the beer. Really nice.

I've never had a nitro beer....

I do not know how, but it is true.

I am shocked. I think you would love a good beer on nitro. The bubbles are 1/3 the size and it makes them very smooth and creamy. Good stuff.

Left Hand makes a good one. Confluence Brewery in Des Moines makes one that is just as good.

Yeah I've had the left hand nitro milk stout. Probably the best nitro beer I've had.

I usually steer clear of Sierra Nevada brews....this one was calling my name and I'm glad I got a 4 pack. Very bitter, very piney, very boozy. I would drink this style of rocket fuel DIPA over devil dancer or Molotov cocktail any day!

Haha! I'm working on a Des Moines trip Dave! I can taste the dust right now. I need to get to el bait shop before the summer is over or I'll be disappointed in myself! I'll let you know in advance before it happens.

I'm sticking to IPA's and Saison/farmhouse ales. I have a bomber of Knee Deep Brewing Simtra, a bomber of Foothills June IPA of the month, a Bretticent from WW, and I'm trying to decide if I want to crack open one of my sours or my Prairie Bomb!

I'm currently drinking another of my Hipster Nouveau's.

My recommendation for the prairie bomb is drink it early, like for breakfast. Seriously, it's 14% ABV and easy drinking. A beer like that after a long day of previous drinking could end the festivities in a hurry. Plus if you have it first, you'll get to truly taste the deliciousness before your taste buds get pickled. Especially after something like knee deep simtra, I love that beer, but it'll wreck your pallet!
