Weekend beer line up

This is pretty good. High abv is pretty well hidden.

I know the pliny and heady get a lot of attention for being phenomenal doubles, but for 6$ and available everywhere, this enjoy by series is a Home run in my opinion

 

This batch is better then most of the other ones I've had.

 

Brandon, send me a PM and I will work a trade for some Gumballhead so you can try it. Some people think its the best. You never know until you try. I am so excited to find out tonight that an Iowa distributor just convinced 3-Floyds to distribute to Iowa. I guess it will start in July. I wont believe it until I see it, but the source of the information was good! I may have to go to Des Moines to get it, but a one hour drive beats the heck out of an 8 hour drive. I will keep you posted.

 

This is a little maltier than I prefer.

 

I was told about a month or so ago that 3 Floyd will start to be sold in Va on the near future. This was buy a regional distribution sales manager too.

Hook, let me know when you might be interested in another trade. I still have some WW remaining and occasionally bottles pop up at my bottleshops that I could pick up if interested. Lately the ones that have been coming in are Bretticent, Black Angel, and Serenity. I have passiflora blanc as well. They're starting a new series using local ingredients that I'd really like to get but I don't know that they're distributing. The first is released at the brewery today and it's a brett saison made with rhubarb.

Wicked weed is coming out with a sasion

 

Just had a couple pints of one of Wicked Weed's seasonal saison made with cucumber called Coolcumber. It was really unique but I like it a lot. Really refreshing on a hot day like today.

 

I'm trying to talk my gf into going to the brewery tomorrow on out way back from SC

 

How big of a detour is that for you? Asheville is pretty far West unfortunately... wish it were only about an hour or so away and I would go much more frequently. I've still only been once since it's a little over 3 hours from me.

 

It would and a hour or so to our trip back.

I'd have to be leaving right about now to make it in time haha. We'll definitely have to try to meet up sometime while I'm still out in NC though. I recommend waiting to eat lunch at the brew pub if you can bc they actually have pretty good food. Also, if you're into sours make sure you go downstairs as they have a very different tap list down there. I already know you like IPA's so grab a pint of Freak of Nature for sure. All of their beers are good for the most part so you can't really go wrong.
