The be hoppy from wormtown brewery stole the show. They hype is real on that one, I'm glad to check that one off my list. Definitely a world class, heavily hopped pale ale. I'd put it up there with a zombie dust.

The flower power from Ithaca brewing left a little to be desired in the aroma department. Overall tho a solid beer.

Mamas yella pills, nice on a hot day, but let's be real it's a simple pilsner. Nothing more or less.

Hoponious union from jacks abbey was also very impressive. Great nose and pallet. I can't recall having a pale lager before, but this one was very nice. I can't wait to try my others from jacks abbey.

 

I like this a lot... hopefully I can get ahold of a few more bottles at some point in time but it was the most sought after of all of their releases so far. Wish Asheville wasn't so far away haha.

 

I had planned to hold onto my bottle of that for a while...looks like I'll need to be trying it in the very near future...like tomorrow night maybe haha

 

Not so sure on the sour lager from jacks abbey...it got better as it warmed, but there was this weird lingering coffee aroma and flavor...I dig coffee, but not with a tart cherry sour...overall I think I liked it, but if I had the chance to try it again, I'd drink it at room temperature. The bourbon barrel came through much better at the end of the glass


This however was awesome! I'm kinda bummed I only had one of these. Very very pale color, huge citra hop presence. I could see myself drinking a lot of those if it were more accessible.

I drank one of these after a deviant dales last time and I found the hop presence limited. Tonight I've got a fresh pallet and yowzers, grapefruit bomb! I shoulda bought every 4 pack my store had on the shelves haha

 

I grabbed a Stone RuinTen tonight that I'll be having in the next couple days and I have a package waiting for me in my complex office that I have to wait until tomorrow morning to get. I'm excited to see what's all in it as I only know one of the beers for sure.

 

I get that often at a local pizza place, I'm a fan.

I need to stop looking at this thread at work. I'm not allowed to drink on the job, but sometimes I'd sure like to!

 

This is alright. I definitely prefer ZD. I wish I would've gotten some Gumballhead in the trade as well to try.

 

Yea I need to stop peeking in here too. Makes me want to do a store run
