Pretty good west coast IPA that I picked up as an extra in my pliny/blind pig trade.

Yea I got it through a trade with a guy in CA. I don't know if you're interested or not but I bet you could very easily obtain a good bit of Blind Pig through a trade on beer advocate with some of the 3F you picked up (depending on what you have left haha). They have a forum section specifically dedicated to beer trading and that's where I setup my trade for the Pliny/Blind Pig.

I'm headed to NOCal in September with my wife for our 5 year anniversary. We've got 4 days booked in napa and 4 in Sonoma and one night we will be hitting up the Russian river brewery/pub. Allegedly they sell bottles on site. I'm AM coming home with a serious RR haul from that trip. Trades will ensue....

Nice. I love Gose. It is also the only Westbrook beer I have had so far. I need to remedy that.

I haven't had any of their beers but from what I've heard Mexican Cake is getting a ridiculous amount of attention this year. I've seen it getting some really good stuff on BA so I might keep one and trade the others to see what I can get.

yeah Mexican Cake is really sought after on the trading forums. I would drink 1, age 1, and trade 1.

    I haven't had a beer in over a week. Just been too...busy I guess.

Jeff how did you like the Blakkr? Personally I was a little disappointed given how hyped it was . (Not to mention its $20 for a four pack)

I enjoyed it, but lately the last 5 or 6 black IPA's I've tried have all tasted the same. None of them stand out as being better than another. I think my taste buds are burnt out on that style. I acquired that can in a trade, there is no way I'd pay 20$ for a 4 pack. It's cool to say I've drank it, but it's nothing I'll go out of my way to pursue again.

This is pretty good. It'd be a really refreshing beer on a hot summer day.
